All Balls 2011

My second adventrue of June was the Haines/Wheat All Balls Weekend. We started this tradition the year my Grandmother passed, and this was year 6, because we are spread out all over Texas and Maryland now this weekend is very important for all of us! We did something different this year, instead of renting a hotel we rented a house in Wimberly, Texas! (pictured above) This weekend was amazing trip filled with Love, Laughter, and Family!

When you have over 25 some odd people you gonna have A LOT of food, and good food it was!

Although Cody was not able to join our family this year due to him being in Marine Boot Camp, We made him some signs and took a picture of the whole family (minus a few) to let him know we were proud of him and what he was doing with his life!! Cara sent him this picture and he loved it! All in all the weekend was way beyond amazing! Family is Forever!

My Birthday Weekend!

So its been about 4 weeks since i last posted....dang...i need to stay on top of this. Well.... This adventure that my boots took me on was to Gruene, Texas for my Birthday Weekend! Im so amazingly blessed with such amazing friends. Me and My Gang decided to go float the Guadalupe River. It was an amazing weekend filled with fun, tanning, tubing, campfire and some guitar playing.

Well a couple of weeks ago my really good friend Meagan texted me and said that Bella had been learning about  Police Officers and Fire Fighters, and Community Service. Well Bella insited that she had to Meet a Officer and see his car. She asked if I could work something out....Well with the help of an awesome cousin, who also happens to be a FTW Police Officer we were able to get Bella a Private Tour of The Police station.

Bella had a wonderful time, yes we were put into handcuffs and arrested for being to cute (well at least Bella was) But from what here Momma said, she went to birthday Party afterward and made sure everyone there heard about her Police adventure, and she has now decided she wants to be police officer for Halloween, and have a Police Birthday Party.

My New Indulgence....

Ok, I know I haven't been on here in awhile, but I had to share this with you. I don't know how many of you have heard of these but the are my new favorite indulgence. Thanks, to my BFF Jennifer I am now hooked on them. They are these thin Japanese biscuit sticks covered in chocolate. They have all different kind of flavors. But of course the Chocolate is my favorite. I believe you can get them at Target, so if you are ever there pick some up they are delicious in their own way. Yum.

The Good... The Bad... and The Ugly

Well its been awhile since I have posted, its been a hectic couple of weeks, but hey God wont put obsticles in your way unless he know you can over come them. Ok got some problems and then some happy things to type about.

 Somethings that have been bothering me...

1. Is people always tell me, im to nice, I need to stop letting people walk all over me, well for some of those people that have said those things to me, get ready because, I am fixing to let loose, because you are the ones doing it.

2. People who have pity partys, ugg... If the situation your in can be fixed but you are to lazy to do anything about, fix it dont sit there and whine 24/7 its annoying.... and your a grown-up, act like it and find a solution, or get over it.

3. My dad always told me that you have to learn to live within your means, If you are sitting there spending money left and right on things that you really dont need ( and dont have the money for), but yet someone is paying your rent and car payment and insurance and phone, and pretty much everything, and then you sit there and whine because you dont have any money, well find you a better job and one you work more than two days a week and stop laying around the house, and not getting anything done and spending money when you dont have it. Geez, grow up and know that someone out there is worse off than you and still manages to pay bills and take care of themselves... and you have a choice to fix it!! Grow up!

Ok now on to a More Happier note:

1. So I have decided to attened Heritage Trace Church of Christ for while, this past sunday was my first day there, thank the lord I knew a family who goes there and they welcomed me and I really enjoyed it. Im nervous and kind of excited to get to meet people more my age that I can relate to and share the lord with. So I am really excited with this new adventure in life.

2. Got a good weekend planned this coming weekend, Friday I have Annabelle's birthday party in the Park, then Saturday is our first Family Game night for my dads side of the family. I mean everyone is going to be there, family from Round Rock, Jordonton, and here in the local area, its is going to be a very good saturday night! Then Sunday back to Heritage Trace COC for church. 

3. Me and my mom have discussed on going to Missouri in April to see my Great Aunt Jeanie and Uncle Ken, I am Super excited about this I havent seen her in 9 months and I think me and my mom, lil sis and aunt darla are going up there in April to see them for a nice 4 day weekend!


Well I guess thats is all I have right now, besides being completely bored in Texas Govt.

Valentines Day in Austin!!

Ok so even though I did not have a Valentine to spend this wonderful Holiday with, I spent it with some of my favorite people, my Family!! This particular adventure my Boots took me on was to Austin, Texas.We did many different things, there was the visit to the capital, Schertz Beer Garden for Lunch, Pedis and Manis with the Girls UT basketball game for the Boys (which UT won) a small trip to HeyCupcake!! and Stubbs BBQ for dinner. It was an amazing weekend and the perfect small get away from everyday life...

Ok New Year..... New Me!

I meant to do this as my first post, but I finally got around to it and to give you a little background on why I started this blog.
So this is the first blog i have written in a long time, but I am wanting to make a few changes to my life. First being losing weight, the second is to start this blog, third is to become more involved with church and to strengthen my relationship with God.
I named the Title of this blog Bugs Great Adventures because that is what my dad use to call all my emails I sent to him while I was living in Lubbock and going to Texas Tech. And every time I'm off on a trip weather it be big or small he would always say, there goes Bug on one of her great adventures.
I hope starting to blog again will help me with expressing what i feel and involve everyone in my adventures of life, because like i have always tried to tell myself  "Life in itself is a adventure, live it to the fullest and cherish every moment, that God has blessed you with because you never know what could happen"

My "I reached my Goal" Dress....

Well with my big adventure for the year, being on the slim for life program and losing all this weight (12lbs so far) this is my Woo Hoo Ive reached my goal dress!!!! for the summer. Im pretty excited!

I feel the Need......The Need for Speed!!!!

Ok so maybe not speed in general but, I have this itch (no not that kind) lol... but anyway this itch to get out of Fort Worth and go and do something anywhere else besides here. I wanna go and do and see things, Here i just feel like im stuck in a Rut... not moving forward....the same thing everyday. I just feel like im ment for more than just going and sitting in a office everyday, going to school, and then coming home and doing it all over again the next day. With working for my company for a year i have accumulated about 2 1/2 weeks of vacation time, and i am already ready to use it as soon as possible. but then i remember i have some "Penciled in Plans" (see below) for this year but the bad thing is, all of it is happening in the middle of the year to the end. I dont know If I can do that I need something to do now! I am thinking I might make a random trip soon to somewhere, weather it be San Antonio Area to see family, or maybe even Louisiana, to see a friend. I dont know but if I dont do something soon, Im going to go CRAZY!!! I dont know...we will just have to see where life takes me and when.

Penciled in Plans for this year....

So, a week and half into the new year, not much has happen, that would count as a big adventure, but I have definitely "Penciled" in some pretty amazing adventures this year that I cant wait go on. Really quick, since the first of the year, I have officially started the slim4life program and i have lost probably around 6-8 pounds and that was just preparing to start the program, I am super excited to start this big adventure because it is going to affect the rest of my life. I will definitely keep this up to date with that adventure through out the year. Some of my penciled in adventures this year, include but not limited to..... Small weekend adventures here and there to see family, The Haines Family "All Balls" annual trip in Wimberly Texas.... Maybe (still in the planning process) going to New Orleans for 4th of July with some of my best friends Krystal and Mitch...... and Going to Maryland in the fall to see Corey, Robbie, Jaxson and Annabelle. So that is what i have penciled in for this year so far, we will see where life takes me..... Signing out  ~Bug 

My Adventure for the day....

So the first day of  new year, I took a big step yesterday to my new year and soon a new me. I have constantly heard on the radio about Slim4Life, I have struggled with my weight for years, I have tried eveything, from diets to diet pills to working out everyday. and yes sure i would lose a little a bit here and there and then boom i would gain it back. Its so upsetting some days, but with the consultation I had today, I have a new hope that this year is going to be amazing! With the support of my friends and family I am sure i will meet my goal weight! Im so excited for this new year, I feel it is going to be a great one for me!!! God Bless and a Happy New Year.
